White Delight Popcorn – Brought to You by the Education & Learning Committee
1 part (by weight) salted popcorn
3 parts white coating
(Example: 3 oz. popcorn and 9 oz. white coating)
Procedure:
Pop popcorn and place in a LARGE mixing bowl or revolving pan.
Add the melted (95 – 100ºF/slightly warm) coating to the popcorn and mix until popcorn is well coated.
Use a fan to help cool and solidify the coating while slowly mixing.
When coating is hardened and each kernel is separated from each other, you can enjoy (eat). If there happens to be leftovers – place in a moisture proof container.
Different colored coatings can be used for the holiday seasons, such as pastels for Easter.
