Fats and Oils for Confectionery and Snack Products
Exhibition hosted by the PMCA Production Conference Program Committee
The PMCA display this year gave attendees the opportunity to touch and taste a variety of fats and oils both domestic and exotic. This interactive exhibit featured a variety of raw materials that form the basis for fats and oils in confectionery and snack products. A collection of seeds, such as soybean, canola, Shea and palm were on display. Maps, videos and posters highlighted oil consumption and sources worldwide as well as harvesting and processing techniques.
